Accelerating Green Hydrogen for Urban Mobility

In the framework of the LIFE23 Welcome Meeting in Brussels on October 22, Mr. Nikolaos Ntavos, co-founder and manager of CluBE-Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia, highlighted the potential of LIFE GREENH₂ORN to transform urban mobility and contribute to a climate-neutral future.

LIFE GREENH2ORN is pioneering sustainable transport in Kozani by producing green hydrogen from renewable sources to power fuel cell vehicles in the municipal fleet. By 2028, Kozani will have its first commercial green hydrogen refueling station!

The LIFE GREENH2ORN Project is co-funded by CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency under the LIFE Programme, bringing green hydrogen technologies to the forefront of urban mobility and paving the way for a more sustainable future.
