Delphi Economic Forum: A Platform for Strategic Dialogue and Innovation in Europe
The Delphi Economic Forum is a leading international platform based in Greece that brings together global leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society to discuss and shape sustainable and inclusive policies for Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. Held annually in the historic town of Delphi—once a symbol of wisdom and dialogue in the ancient world—the Forum serves as a space for high-level debates and strategic cooperation on critical topics including climate action, energy transition, economic development, and technological innovation.
In this context, the 10th edition of the Delphi Economic Forum, held from April 9–12, 2025, gathered decision-makers and experts to address current global challenges and explore transformative opportunities.
During the panel discussion “Northern Greece: Developing the Future,” held on Saturday, April 12, Mr. Nikolaos Ntavos, Co-Founder and Manager of CluBE – the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia, joined other regional and national leaders to discuss Northern Greece’s role in shaping a modern, innovation-driven economy.
Mr. Ntavos emphasized the region’s ongoing energy and industrial transformation, spotlighting CluBE’s central role in connecting entrepreneurship with research and fostering sustainable growth. As part of his intervention, he presented CluBE’s active involvement in a portfolio of European initiatives and projects, including LIFE GREENH2ORN, 24/7 ZEN, BBTWINS, and Biomodel4Regions—all contributing to the green transition and regional development and resilience.
Among these, LIFE GREENH2ORN, a project co-funded by the EU LIFE Programme and managed under the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), was highlighted as a flagship initiative for green mobility and hydrogen integration in Kozani, one of the EU’s 100 climate-neutral and smart cities.
The discussion, moderated by journalist Maria Samolada, featured contributions from:
- Elena Rapti, Deputy Minister of Social Cohesion & Family
- Nikos Efthymiadis, President & CEO of Thess INTEC
- Anastasios – Tasos Tzikas, President of TIF – Helexpo S.A. & Technopolis S.A
Mr. Ntavos’ participation in the Forum underscores CluBE’s mission to accelerate regional resilience, adaption of new technologies, and environmental sustainability through European collaboration and investment.
