11 Jun Hydrogen Innovation for Regional Growth: Enhancing Mobility and Local Value Chains
The vision for green mobility is becoming a reality, with Greece’s first commercial Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS) now operational in Agioi Theodoroi, developed by AVIN OIL and Motor Oil.
On June 11, during the event “Hydrogen Innovation for Regional Growth: Enhancing Mobility and Local Value Chains – The Peloponnese Case” participants visited the new HRS which is a major step in the country’s clean energy transition. Mr. Nikolaos Ntavos, Co-Founder and Manager of CluBE, presented LIFE GREENH2ORN, highlighting the role of Greek regions in the European hydrogen roadmap and the value of interregional cooperation. He also moderated the panel “Building Hydrogen Economies at Local and Regional Level,” featuring experts from European Hydrogen Valleys such as HEAVENN, WIVA P&G HyWest, GetHyGA, and SH2AMROCK.
The event, hosted by Motor Oil within the TRIERES – Greek Hydrogen Valley initiative and supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, fostered dialogue and synergies among key hydrogen stakeholders across Europe.
